Really that's more a question for the Michigan division of corporations as to whether you've completed everything. You most likely need a federal EIN, you didn't mention that in your post, for tax purposes of filing an 1120 or whatever structure you're setting up.

Most likely a lawyer would be a prudent investment of your time and energy.

You still need a few technical steps, like holding a meeting to name what you need to name, registered agent, finishing any filings the way as they always want a yearly annual report, plus you may have to look into business licensing and such, which is done separate of the division of corporations.

You can go to the SBA website and find mentors to help you with the process if you find the government's information hard to read, usually former CEOs and businessmen to help you avoid some pitfalls.

It’s a lot of paperwork, but a lot of fun.

Sadly stair, county, and federal taxes are all over the place.

I would highly consider getting an accountant with a bookkeeper from the beginning and it can make a lot of this very easy.
