I don’t thinks it’s a mental illness per se, although there is an emotional neediness there, where you have a hole in your life you think can be filled with an unrealistic notion of a woman. A hope against reality as it were.

We have all simped at one point in our lives. It's social conditioning, not a mental illness. It can be tackled much easier than mental illness can.
