WARNING: mildly shocking content and rant

For those who don't know what Carnival is, it's a week long (month long depending on the city) celebration with usually 3 holydays in it. It comprises mostly street parties and some closed parties. Problem is it serves as a platform for all kinds of debauchery: pissing, shitting, littering, drug use and, of course, sluttery.

Now as if what I said above isn't bad enough some people are using it to advertise for women privileges rights. Of course, owing to the sluttery of the situation many men hit on girls and vice versa, sometimes touching happens as it is natural of the courting process (Brazilians are not coy on harmless touching just so you guys from US and Europe know) and sometimes, actual abuse happens. Problem is, these kinds of movements are not insterested in actually analyzing what is abuse and what is not, so they only serve to act as another way to feed feminine hypergamy and demonize men.

Picture this, girls go barely dressed on the street because they love the attention. Of course they love any kind of attention, but they only want to get bothered by chads. If an 80 percenter tries to pick her up in the same way a chad would do, it's suddenly harassment.

So, it's that old thing where women want all the rights, but none of the responsibilities. So, they go dressed like prostitutes on the street, drink themselves to mental retardation, but don't want to be judged.

Another thing these movements are trying to curb is physical agression on females. Here in Brazil, we have two laws regarding this "Maria da Penha" which, according to the text, is supposed to protect people from emotional, physical or sexual abuse in any power unbalanced relationship (boss-worker, husband-wife, parent-children, teacher-student etc) which of course in reality only protects women. The other is "Lei do Feminicídio" (Law of Feminicide) that is pratically when a man kills a woman. Picture this, women are so pampered a common homicide law is not enough for them.

Now the point where my rant begins is that I have developed total apathy to the well-being of women who are not in my direct social circle. So, women get to use men as afirmation tools, they can emotionally abuse the shit out of them (as we know women are the greatest abuser in non-reciprocal abusive relationship), they can destroy men's lives by simply lying about rape. The State, society and other men don't give a flying fuck.

But when one is in actual peril, suddenly other man have to get involved. Fuck that. If another man is making something with a woman (and you are not close to any of them), the only thing you should do, if ever, is call the police and let the situation solve itself. She may have been nagging him for months before he actually broke, or she may have been leading him on to get favors and whatnot. The only person that matters is YOU and you would be jeopardizing your own safety by trying to protect some roastie who may be getting involved with a criminal who isn't afraid of beating the shit out of you or, even worse, is carrying a weapon.
