Exactly. I meant to post this rant by Adam Driver after he gets pissed off after Scarlett Johansen manipulates him:

it's semi autobiographical. the Director went thru a divorce and wrote the script. Something tells me he purposely made it dramatic but fair so it could be released, but deep down probably wanted to make it even more red pill.

another great series on divorce is Lost In Translation vs. Her. Sophia Copolla and Spike Jonze were married and basically each movie is their take on divorce and marriage. Funny thing is in Her, he falls in love with a computer but eventually learns to forgive his ex and move on and focus on himself. in Lost In Translation the film maker husband (supposed to be Jonze) is seen as a bumbling idiot who just focuses on his art and is a simp pushover and is about Copolla falling for an older famous actor which i'm sure really happened. interesting how different those two are and how much her version basically shits on him whereas his respects his ex.

Yes the film maker is a red pill man for sure. Great movie to show the risk of a marriage for a man and how it's generally end up.
