I've never played the game or read the books. The Netflix show is the first time I've seen her and I thought her ark was interesting before she transformed. I was curious how she would turn out and what her motives and character would be like while she was training and struggling.

After she transformed I feel like her character changed too much. I felt like her new self should be a different form of her former self, rather, I feel like she's 100% a completely different person. This not only kills all the build up and original ark for me but also made me feel no connection to the new Yenny.

The other part I didn't like was how much screen time she got. I felt like she got more screen time than Geralt. This might just be because I didn't like her scenes too much so it felt like it dragged on. Also, every scene she's in is all about her throwing a tantrum and complaining and whining. She's just some bitter salty which that thinks the world owes her everything and she's acting out like a toddler to do her bidding. She should have known what she was getting herself into.

She's also a hypocrite so her lines don't add up. She purposely, willingly, and knowingly gave up her fertility and her ability to have a baby. Then, after she got what she wanted in the moment, is mad about not being able to have a baby. Wouldn't stop crying and complaining about it. Let a lot of her actions and motives revolve around that concept. Then at one point in the show when she failed to protect a baby and the baby ended up dying, she literally told the dead baby that the baby was better off dead anyways, that life wasn't really worth it, and that he/she isn't missing out on much.

Well okay Yenny then you should be glad you can't have kids. Firstly because you chose that and second is because they're better off not being born anyways. I hope she does more than focus on her wardrobe and fucking Geralt. Waiting for S2.

she want's to become the strongest sorcerer, always kinda nagging and doesn't like when people stand in her way

I don't understand why she's trying to be the STRONGEST sorcerer. What was presented in the Netflix show wasn't very convincing. I'm under the impression she had a rough childhood so she thinks the world owes her something? If so she needs to grow the fuck up.

I do agree and see what you mean about the nagging and complaining part. She does a LOT of that in the show and I think that's why I dislike her. However, I think the main issue is how much screen time she got. Maybe keep her the way she is but cut her screen time down a lot. Constant scenes of whining and complaining gets quite annoying.

It's the same with Bard or that guy that follows Geralt that won't ever shut up and only causes problems. He's annoying but I can see that they're intentionally making him that way. He's sort of like a comic relief guy so I get it.
