I've noticed a pattern when people tried to convince me to find a nice girl to settle down with years ago.

Older folk around my parent's generation will say she will cook and clean, etc, etc. To which I reply with, "you do realise that expecting a woman to cook and clean, etc, is considered to be domestic violence against women, right?"

Younger folk around my ages and below will say she will make me feel good emotionally and provide sex, etc, etc. To which I reply with, "you do realise that expecting a woman to provide emotional support and sex is considered to be domestic violence against women, right?"

Expecting a woman to contribute anything to a relationship is considered domestic violence against women in this society/culture, both morally and legally in the eyes of the masses.

As little as possible generally. UNLESS, they need something or can get something out of that contribution.

Mine used to do the least possible in order to continue the marriage. She used to ask me if she was a good partner, and I never used to answer her, because the only answer I could give her was 'No'.

She was a good mum, but that was were it ended. I was there to provide money, and keep her safe.
