The negative stories about women serve as reminders as to why we are here. Some say that the average MGTOW is one blowjob away from going back to the plantation. This is like our AA meeting. We need to remind each other of the horror stories so we aren't persuaded by some sweet little thing to "take one more drink".

If the forum ever degenerated into nothing but hate, I would stop reading it, but a little mixed in with the rest is OK if you ask me.

Best post for me recently was one that introduced me to Roy Masters. I've been watching his vids today. Really good stuff in the growth department. I know I still need to read the horror stories though. The thirst can be strong at times.

To be honest, I pretty much already know how to be happy and live my best life as they say. I don't need help figuring out my purpose, or my future, or how to do a pushup. I don't need to get into protein powders, or investing, or get a bigger house. Material possessions are of some importance to me, only as much as their usefulness and my enjoyment of them merits. I don't need to take a nature walk, or maximize my grooming routine. Not interested in whats on tv, or going to some work function, or what some brand of toothpaste said on the internet. I'm not knocking men who are interested in these things, what I'm saying is this: those things already have a place to be discussed. I subscribed to this sub so I could relate to other men who have realized the same truths I have, and to further my understanding of that truth. I once read in the sidebar that this sub is a "hospital" for men awaking to the redpill truth. I don't hate women, but I'll be damned if I let one take control of my life and destroy my freedom once more. Anyone who can add to my understanding of how to navigate the dangerous man-hating landscape that is the modern world, I am grateful for. And so here I am, reading and recovering on this sub, almost every day, reminding myself why giving in to one of my most instinctive tendencies could and would destroy my chance at a life lived my way.
