Because I haven't had a lot of income coming in, everything is stacking up. Credit cards are maxed. I'm late on rent. The property management company is getting cranky. My husband can take out a 401k loan and is willing to do so because I haven't been well, but we have to pay a prior 401k for 3k before we can get the 18k loan. Same company. We just can't have more than 4 loans. I have pawned my wedding ring and the loan is due. I've also been fighting a cold and joy, oh joy, I'm having a herpes outbreak I can't seem to kick.

I've asked a few close friends and posted in r/borrow (under another name) to float me the 3k but haven't gotten any traction.

Gotta love how it's "her family too" because she's an orphan but she keeps calling out that it's his family she's doing all this work for. Pick a side lady. They're either your family or they're not, you don't get to say "mine" when it's good then "his" when it's bad and expect sympathy.
