Article title: "Why Men Should Stop Saying #NotAllMen. Immediately."

Author (female) makes arguments about why men shouldn't go "not all men are like that" when women thrash men.
She makes some dumb arguments, but they are at the level women and white knights think anyway, and some people were sharing this on Twitter (yes, I know I shouldn't be on that place) while defending #MenAreTrash (yes, it is a thing).
Now these people project a lot, so it's usually profitable to just use their own words against them, or just for understanding them.
So I thought I'd extract a couple of points from that and just flip them around, see how they respond to some of you who may still want to bother with them.
Yes, we KNOW that not every single man is responsible. Yes, we KNOW that you would never do that; and you’ve reminded us enough, thanks.
- Yes, we KNOW that not every single woman is hypergamous (or insert whatever). Yes, we KNOW that you would never do that; and you’ve reminded us enough, thanks.
The #NotAllMen brigade don’t sincerely think that women talking about the violence we’ve been subjected to at the hands of men are under the impression that every single man on the planet has behaved in a similar way.
- The NAWALT brigade don’t sincerely think that men talking about the abuse and manipulation we’ve been subjected to at the hands of women are under the impression that every single woman on the planet has behaved in a similar way.
So #NotAllMen doesn’t clarify anything. It doesn’t add to the discussion or develop it in any way. All it does is derail and dismiss the lived experiences of women and girls.
- So NAWALT doesn’t clarify anything. It doesn’t add to the discussion or develop it in any way. All it does is derail and dismiss the lived experiences of men and boys.
And what the men who leap to remind us that ‘’not all men are like that’’, are actually saying is, ‘’I’m not like that.’’ Or to put it another way, they are letting women know that discussing misogyny makes them uncomfortable, and they’d like to be absolved of any blame before they will let women continue.
- And what the women who leap to remind us that ‘’not all women are like that’’, are actually saying is, ‘’I’m not like that.’’ Or to put it another way, they are letting men know that discussing misandry makes them uncomfortable, and they’d like to be absolved of any blame before they will let men continue.
Women undertook massive amounts of emotional labour and relived personal trauma in sharing their stories of sexual violence on #MeToo. To ask us to hand out cookies and ‘Well Done For Not Raping Anybody’ badges to men who rush to tell us #NotAllMen, is unreasonable at best, and insulting at worst.
- Men undertook massive amounts of emotional labour and relived personal trauma in sharing their stories of sexual violence and emotional, legal and financial abuse on r/MGTOW. To ask us to hand out cookies and ‘Well Done For Not Divorce Raping Anybody and Falsely Accusing an Innocent Man’ badges to women who rush to tell us NAWALT, is unreasonable at best, and insulting at worst.
If you are a man and don’t recognise yourself in the behaviour described by women recently, then great. Our discussion of it shouldn’t offend you, or put you on edge.

So please, stop and pause before you leap to remind us #NotAllMen.
- So please, stop and pause before you leap to remind us NAWALT.
I’m all out of badges and all out of patience.
- Any childish sass you can come up with.
