I had the blue heeler and while they are a PAIN to train the 1st year I put in the time. Dog was so well trained and loyal I could walk him off leash in downtown Portland at 5PM rush hour no problem. I personally like kennel training so the dog has they own house and safe place to go if you need them out of the way on command but its been 5 years sing I lost him to age and that dog saw me through think and thin and was better then any Women I ever dated.

Makes me laugh how some women adore cats and some men here pledge their undying love for dogs simply because these lower level, dumber animals are not as complex or discerning as the average human. My dogs awesome, great companion! My ex wanted him, was mean to him, wanted rid of him when he was "too much hassle" meaning he needed walks and talking care of and didn't want him when she left, not that I was ever letting her take him! My cats pretty good too, except the female one she's a callous moose that only comes to you when she wants something, sounds familiar 🤔😂
