Was crushing on my female supervisor for the past couple weeks. Each time I flirted with her she'd smile and laugh at my attempts. There weren't any moments where I was told that she felt uncomfortable (from her or anyone else). Most days she would work with me and seemed to like being around when we'd work together.

Fast forward to today, my managers assign my supervisor to work with me in chemicals aisle. During this time the manager would joke to her about my crush to her. My workfriends told me I was being played and they were RIGHT!

Later that night I talked to her and offered to go to lunch with her and to a local museum on our days off. She showed signs of interest (from the many I read) such as smiling, laughing, touching me once, and just very friendly overall conpared to how shitty she was to all my coworkers in our department. She rejected me and said she wouldn't date me because of her being my supervisor. That was very fair and I said calmly & collected, "I respect your decision." Then later on I asked if she was sure and she said the same thing and I stopped pursuing after that!

Then right before I clock out to leave work I got called into the office and told about the incident and apologized profusely to my manager fearing that I'd be fired. Luckily it was just a notification but was told to NOT even hang out with any supervisor after work hours.

Feel like a fool for getting played and it's sad that as a young man we can't even get into relationships anymore because of cowardly people like this ruining our reputation....

I was assigned to do her job with pulling out all the pallets for each department at the end of the night while she was away reporting on me simultaneously.

Just thought I'd share my story tonight.
