The Not a real Feminist argument is the real crux of why third wave feminism is useless and self serving. You essentially have a classification that is so vaguely encompassing that nearly everyone can claim to be a part of it. This has now elevated to the point where everyone says "my one and only definition of x is the only real definition". For fucks sake most feminists reject the dictionary definition so they can slap their own bullshit label on it. Then now you have everyone claiming that no one is truly X unless they fit what they determined to be X. It's crumbling the whole movement.

Best advice I can give you regarding feminism and undesired women; ignore them and they will go away.
By acknowledging that they're there at all you give them reason to stay.

I guess Shanley Kane is not a "true feminist", but she might just be a typical one.

She's not a "true feminist", she's a vapid idiot who's just jumping around in life based on her hormones and emotions. That's pretty typical. She's a "feminist" because she thinks it makes her sound "smart" and "neat" and can also play up that card whenever she wants to complain about something because she assumes it will give her more influence for whatever she's complaining about to ultimately get her way.

As an actual feminist (men and women should be treated equally) this is pretty disheartening to read, but a very common story to hear. But, surprise surprise, there's a bunch of dumb chicks saying stupid shit when they don't know what they're talking about (just like the majority of people on most subjects) and taking actions to the exact opposite without realizing it.

In the case of this woman it's because she got horny and threw all her morals out the window that she barely understood in the first place. That same situation happens for guys all the time too. So, maybe in the end, there is equality, lol. But it's much more common for a female to attach "feminism" to their lives and actions without knowing anything about anything and then doing the opposite, because they believe it gives them a pass to do whatever they want and they'll be "in the right" because they picked the correct political gender label that's fashionable at the time, even if they don't understand it.

But that's how vapid chicks operate nowadays. If you wanna get laid by one of them develop a strategy to subtly play into that (along with appealing to her base emotions which are often contradictory), but otherwise there's not much use paying any attention to their drivel. There's nothing else they have to offer (and deep down know it too, that's why they are attracted to vague labels they don't understand).

Edit: You can see the same mindset in this thread too for more evidence, lol. Plenty of hypocrisy apologists defending the abandonment of personal morals for an emotionally hormonal decision. It's pretty funny how little people care about what they pretend to care about deeply.

And you know what? The guy is 90% right. 10% wrong because he probably underestimates how prevalent that mindset exactly is among "feminists".
