being made in the 1950s and set in the 1880s it says some.. gasp.. 'politically incorrect' things about women. compared to today, the women in the movie are well-mannered, modest, etc. however they never stop 'testing' the men and the men constantly have to shut them down. the behaviour is so similar to that of little children. in many scenes the woman has no idea what's going on but she 'wants' and so she speaks and the men have to tell her to be quiet and stop being a stupid woman. and then of course she will try to create an argument out of it.

little kids do this all the time and then whine when the parent says to be quiet. when the little kid doesn't face this discipline they turn into mini tyrants and try to get away with anything. and the exact same has happened with women in our society. they've tested and tested and tested and as they stopped facing discipline they got away with more and more until they've run rampant. they still just want want want and whine whine whine. they don't face many rules anymore so they now run around naked, they scream when they don't get their way, they lie, they cheat, they steal, when they sense someone of authority looking they smile and act innocent then run amok again as soon as their backs are turned, when caught out being naughty they always use the same 3 yr old tactics 'it was that person!' 'i can so too do that you're not the boss of me!' 'you always blame me' 'i didn't do it!' or crying saying ok i'm sorry.. then giggling about it all as soon as it's over and doing it all again. they claim they know everything and can do anything and demand to be included in everything.. 'i wanna go too! i can so! but i-want-to-goooooo!!!!' the toddler doesn't understand or care that it can't do things that adults can. it just 'wants'. you don't relent to its screaming. you tell him to stop being a child and to go back inside. just as men used to tell women to stop being stupid and go back inside.

women ARE children. it's so painfully obvious.

oh and the universities back then were so different. only men, and being only men they are all only there to learn. and they form natural fraternities with the other men in their class and build friendships based on knowledge. nowadays with women included it's all about parties, sex, you only form friendships to party and try and get sex.. there's no sense of fraternity, you're all just random individuals who barely know the professor or each other. nobody outside of class even talks about the subject with any genuine interest. if you even try you're a nerd and girls hate guys who talk about boring stuff so the other boys don't want to be associated with that guy and miss out on fun with the girls.
