No. Shit tests are not to be met with investment. Shit tests are to be given as little energy and time as possible. With the examples you've given:
Some of my favorite goto responses to the "gay" shit test:
"There's a really easy way to find THAT out babe." "Yes. I'm a lesbian trapped in a mans body." Or, act as if she said something mildly weird/unexpected to make her feel like she committed a social faux pas.
Follow this up by immediately changing the subject or acting distracted by something.
The idea is to make her FEEL BAD for shit testing you, followed by making her FEEL like you've given her a chance to redeem herself by turning it into something amusing.
