Women lack diligence at anything. Worse yet they try and distract men so they become like women.

I've read another book from the same author, she writes men like women, makes them weak and emotionnaly unhinged.That put me off; the premices are always some unexplained end of the world ( she can't come up with something logical ) andthe Handmaid's tale is a lonnnng rape fantasy, not sure a man can read that and enjoy it.

They write like I did when I was 12 and writing self-insert fanfiction about me getting sucked into whatever video game or movie world I loved at the moment. If I had a vagina and knew I could sleep my way to the top and continue to write at that level, why not.

I will say that handmaids tale was very lacking in the world building. I didn't hate the show but I was particularly interested in the history and lore of the world of the show, and they never really went more into it. It was just supposed to be enough to know it's an "evil patriarchy"
