For all of us who have dated (or had a crush) it can be kind of weird to see an ex of ours or crush we had growing up after years of not seeing them. Theres a lot reaponses ive heard from guys on this which range from feeling sad that they arent in their lives to happy that they are doing better than their ex in life.

In reality, your ex doesnt give a shit at all about you. At best she may have seen you as a good provider and strong man who could defend her from life (her version of "love"). But she doesnt give a fuck.

The difference between her and you is that when she drops the ball on anything she probably has a hundred friends or whiteknights to tell her that shes perfect and loveable and that the ball doesnt fucking matter. When you drop the ball everybody in the stadium calls for you to get thrown out the game and shits on you until you can catch the ball again.

With that being said, my question is why should we give a shit about impressing any ex or crush of ours? Why should we feel satisfaction from making more money or accomplishing more? Odds are they are children who get gassed up from doing simple things and conceal their true intentions from everyone (yes even their friends... watch some shit like mean girls or just hang around a bunch of thots youll understand) just like their faces on tinder. So it shouldnt fucking matter that you made thousands of more than a person that fantasizes about not having to work from marrying the right guy with money, your a different type of beast. You care about what you earn since you value hard work. You wake up with a desire to learn rather than focus on just to earn. You live life by your own accountability and wear humility on your shoulder.

Dont care about being "better" than your ex. This is a toxic mentality that will cause you to act out and do stupid shit that you dont want to do. Instead, understand the freedom youve gained from your ex and use it to chase your goals in life with 100 percent intensity. Use that attention and care you spent on them on a person that actually deserves it (a lot of bros out here need a mentor or some help so go ahead and assist a bro get back on his feet or find his own way in life)
