During the stone age, a family of cavemen consisted of a Male, who his role was to support and protect his family via hunting, giving them shelter and protect them from dangerous predators. Stronger males were favored by females due to their stronger physical structure and higher degree of success for the family to strive and survive, pass on new genes etc. The role of the female "at the time" was to gather food, feed her family and raise the children. This short story says one thing: men were always the disposable gender. A man's value has always been proportional to what he can provide, men were always given the dirty work, we may not have to hunt mammoths or wild boars to feed our families anymore but who builds roads, buildings, boats, cars, fight wars.... it's all men, which is obviously why over 3/4 of work casualties are men. Sad thing is, at least in the past you were respected and valued by what you gave and even if you got killed by a brute your offspring might still have a chance to survive. In today's time the female gets to decide wether she wants to keep the baby or not. Modern female sees the man as an object of value which depends on how much it will provide, are you valuable as a sex object (chad?), A wallet? A handyman? A dad for my bastard children? Let's face it, modern women will only get more cocky, after her prime is over and getting enough chad, she will look for a simp to settle with so she can drag him by the leash and have him provide for her and her children. The best thing a man can do is just not play the game, gender roles are fucked, so just stand back and watch the shit show.
