The study found older people who live alone are almost twice as likely to be the most lonely compared to those who live with others.

People got paid money to "study" this entirely unexplained outcome.

People who live alone, are more likely to be lonely, then people who don't live alone.

And as /u/mgtowyear4 showed in the link, https://tilda.tcd.ie/people/, there were dozens of people on this "project". How much did this damn thing cost? And who gives a shit?

I mean they had that many data people on this? Was it really that hard to statistically put all this together? Apps do all this for you today. You don't need data number crunchers, the software already exists. This is a one person project tops, but since it's about 99% feminist clams, then naturally it's got to be collectivized so everyone can get their name on it.

And since I just assumed this was more feminists bullshit propaganda, I fail to see what the point of this is. So lonely people get lonely, and the narrative is older men are 5% more lonely than older women.

So? Get out of the house. Go to the pub. Maybe they don't give a shit. One can be "lonely" and not care. And it all comes down to how they're describing lonely.

This study has bias shit all over it.
