Full disclosure gentlemen. I am married with one son who is a senior in high school. I will try to remain married but if that ends will never marry again. However, this little story is about my son and the young men coming up today.
My son has not dated anyone since last years homecoming dance. This year's homecoming just passed and asked if he was going. He said "no."
Me: "Couldn't find a date?"
Him: "Not that. Had three girls asked me."
Me: "What did you tell them?"
Him: "No, then they asked why not and I told them because I am not going."
Me: "Why don't you want to take one of these girls?"
Him: "Too much drama."
Me: "Good call son."
Honestly I see this more and more of these younger men in his class just refusing the whole drama scene. The one or two guys that I see actually dating someone are dating "low drama" girls who already have college prospects and "appear" to have their head on straight. The other girls are just running around like little yipping puppies trying to get these boys attention (ANY boy's attention) and luckily none are responding.
Looks like the next generation is figuring this out on their own.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
