Joined the army at 18, and ended up getting married really young like so many other guys, wife decided she had enough and we divorced amicably enough (fucked someone while I was deployed but honestly he did me a favor)

What really bothered me is how I was deployed and saving every penny I earned over seas, but this bitch still wanted half, even after she was fucking some one else. We came to an agreement and she didn't take half, but ended up with a better car, and 14K.

I was really pissed about all the money I had to cough up, I didn't feel she had contributed 1/4 of the money, so why should she get 1/4? But there was nothing I could do. In my anger is when I stumbled onto mgtow and saw a story of a guy in a similar situation (married young and divorced young) who ended up channeling the same frustration into success. Just ignore bitches and get money. He said he saw his ex wife as a single waitress at 34 yo years later, and he was a well paid SW engineer in the Netherlands. He knew at that moment his divorce was a blessing not a curse.

Now that almost 3 years have passed since my divorce I see myself quickly approaching the same point in my life as this previous mgtow poster. Well paid, Happy, relieved to be living a stress free life, and I'm about to hit a serious financial goal of saving $100k in the bank and almost half that in a Roth IRA, with My own house my own car, and my own life. I'm thankful for this previous guys post and happy things worked out for him. I'm even more happy that things seem to be going well for me and hopefully that continues. Stay strong Bros
