Certainly... but it wasn't "luck" (good OR bad) that "trapped" them... anymore than it was "luck" that a mouse got killed trying to steal the cheese from the mousetrap.

But my point is that the entire blue pill mindset is one of a ridiculous notion of "fate" -- the very concepts of "falling in love" much less "soul mates" or the even more ridiculous "love at first sight" idiocy* -- are all about DENYING one's own agency (and responsibility for consequences that result from one's choices).

Listen carefully, and you will see that just about everything in their life is described in not only PAST tense, but what can be viewed as passive terms: they "fell" in love (like falling into a hole that just "magically" appeared in front of them), then they "got" married, and or she "got" pregnant (like totally accidentally** they -- she AND he -- swear!)... and so on.

* From antiquity on... the whole "shot with Cupid's arrow" notion -- as if one were an animal that had been randomly hunted/wounded by something entirely beyond their control -- and similarly other language as well "smitten" etc. -- ALL of it denying the agency of the parties involved, the various choices & decisions made, actions taken versus not taken, etc.

** Apparently the guy was just walking along, minding his own business when he tripped and fell... and while laying on the ground (presumably on his back, with erect dick somehow sticking out of his pants), well she too just tripped... and impaled her vagina right onto his cock... etc etc etc.
