To be honest, that does sound like a pretty shitty husband. Without context we won’t know both sides but not all men are angels and not all women are devils.
Agreed but I love playing devils advocate and it exposed the fact that she called the police to do a wellness check on him knowing full well he was just trying to bait her into coming by. Apparently he doesn't wanna have kids with her. I'm getting the impression there is a lot more to this story.
Plus who sends pictures of texts to random dudes on the internet to prove they were abused. She left her husband because he was so abusive is main theme of post but she comes up short of real honest to God abuse. I see bitterness and spite.

Of course his mom's going to be worried about him. Probably more worried about him after talking to you. Just realize that if you send a police officer to a man's house there's a chance he might shoot him. That never happens to a woman. Put yourself in a man's shoes for a moment.
I'm gonna give you some good, honest advice. Its easy for people to forget the closeness a relationship like marriage affords. It isn't always awesome, like most things in life it is what both of you make of it. People see things they love about the other person or the relationship start to sour or fade and they fucking panic. They tape off this good feeling with yellow tape and treat like an exhibit, a goddamn crime scene. This warm closeness can seem so distant we perceive the visceral vitriol that replaces it as cold and alien. You dont talk to strangers like that, you dont talk to your friends like that. Even though it's painful and hurtful there is a closeness in freedom of language. Start putting your perception of your relationship through different lenses besides your friends, family and the internet before you do anything drastic. I'm not saying get back together with him but you need to seriously reevaluate how you interact with him if you choose to continue to do so.
