A couple days ago i posted an image with the text "Should women go to prison for falsely accusing a man of rape?". The answers summed up were:

-Yes, Obviously Yes, Fuck Yes, Hell Yes. -Isn't it obvious? Why even ask? -Yes, for reasons explained. -Kill them, harm them, rape them.

I'm curious as many are quick to shoot Yes without a doubt, others looking to conditions based on such, a few who are wise to ask if this question was rhetorical. Some even stupid as to suggest commiting Rape which is wrong and does not help the situation by any means (being 100% blunt but fair)

Though my question was Rhetorical, my purpose was to see what your answers were, and confirmed my suspisions.

Yet to this day, while i fully understand the just cause for your honest answers and reasons such, one major problem is still left unaddressed. We are all so focused on the actions after the false rape accusations. The aftermath, the damages, the sheer but justified emotions of set accusations. All are understandable and fair, but it blinds us from something we still yet to even ask.

The question is simply this: What exactly would cause a woman to make a false accusation to begin with?

Where is this coming from? Why is this happening? Is it for money, petty revenge, enjoyment, enforced on women to do this? Where exactly does it start?

A question with an answer I yet to even see in this subreddit (maybe not even at all). What do you gentlemen think? What is the true motive for such false accusations?
