The Vic situation is a really interesting case.

Nobody has accused him of anything of real substance. Nobody (as far as I can tell) has cried "rape" or accused him of straight up sexual assault.

Most of the allegations are around him being too touchy/feely with fans at conventions. Which is 100% true. It is well documented that he loves to hug and kiss his fans. I've seen/experienced it first hand when I've met him and he also personally admits to this.

The problem is most of his fans are 12 year old girls and any man with half a brain should know that you're playing a dangerous game being this physical with underage girls, even without #metoo in full swing.

So while I have no issue "believing" the accusers in this case, the calls for him to lose work or be blacklisted from conventions are an over reaction. Should he admit his failings and address his behaviour? Absolutely. but he shouldnt lose his job over a couple of hugs he gave out 10 years ago.
