So I saw this post maybe a few days ago ( I tried to find it again but couldn't) where a man posts about how his wife and him have about the same amount of hours at work (him a few hours more per week) and because of their similar work situation, they split the house work 50/50. He mentioned that their financial situation is okay, not exactly living paycheck to paycheck, but not great either.

His wife got an offer for "her dream job" although it pays far less, and so they work out the numbers, and to maintain their current financial situation, he would have to work 60 hours a week (12 hours a day!, that's like waking up, going to work, coming home probably exhausted, sleeping and repeat!). So he tells his wife, he would be willing to do that only if she agrees to take on a bit more house work. She says no, and how it's sexist and whatever blah blah blah.

Like WTF? How selfish can you be? He's making such an enormous sacrifice for you and you can't even do some more house work to make up for his extra work. I'm only 19 but I feel so bad for people in these relationships, imagine being married to such a horrible, nasty person like that for the rest of your life. It's insane
