Some background: I've had a friend a long time. Without revealing too much information, this friend was a good Christian girl even waited until her 20s for sex(with her fiance who she was marrying soon). Unfortunately, guy was a loser who ditched her almost literally at the altar. Afterward, as you can imagine, she decided to simply start sleeping around. The 2nd guy she slept with performed better in bed than the first, and that was when she was self aware enough to realize she would only be able to be compatible with a man who could please her in bed not just out of bed (I have also since slept with her for the record-due to her ideals I had in the past rejected her advances). She literally told me she finally understood the point of celibacy in the Bible because if she had only been with her husband they would've grown sexually together. Now, she might date a guy, really hit things off then find out he's not as good or as big in bed as a prior lover, and is then unable to stay monogamous to that person. She went from potential virgin bride to alpha widow in 6 months. Sadly in this instance I blame the man! (the lack of agency after the fact is still on her) This guy had a pretty virgin bride he could've molded sexually any way he wanted and instead threw it away (If we aren't gonna wife the truly virginal ones we are truly fucked)
