I found this gem of a post in the Dota subreddit:

Dota is a game I am passionate about, I have thousands of hours and I have made a lot of friends playing the game. I appreciate it when I queue into a solo ranked game and I can talk over the mic without anyone judging me on my gender. Girls play dota too. I had encountered a really creepy guy in a game earlier. He asked me my name, where I live, and asked if I could send him pictures. I muted him but he kept trying to add me directly over steam so I had to block him. It made me really uncomfortable and I didn't even want to play anymore. Please guys, just try and do better. We just want to escape life and play games too. Please dont get all creepy.

So she did not want to play anymore because some guy started creeping her out. Like wtf just block him and move on with your game, no need to create a damn soap opera. I got told all kinds of awful shit while playing Dota yet I didn't go online and beg for attention. Fucking grow up. Dota is full of all kinds of people, from good to bad. That's online gaming. If you can't handle it then don't play. What an attention whore.
