It’s still in the sci-fi realm at the moment, but we are able to modify more and more while the child is still in the womb or even modifying the sperm/egg. Imagine a world where the technique is perfected and people are able to pay to ‘upgrade’ their kids - making them smart, tough, good looking, creative, whatever. How do you think it’ll change society and power dynamics between people? Or gender dynamics? Do you think it’ll be good for humanity or should we not mess with our biology like that?
