Read it all guys it’s worth it, trust me. Let me start by saying I’m not MGTOW just yet just a lurker, but it is really tempting and I see very few downsides. I’m 18, just graduated HS and have just started my first semester of Uni. Through HS I worked my ass off and bought myself a new car with the help of my father by the time I graduated and use it to commute to my University. Right before I graduated I had my eyes on a girl who was a friend of one of my female acquaintances. The relationship before this one, I was seeing this older girl at my work and we liked each other but I ended things once I found out she was hiding she had a kid. I did my “background check” of this new girl i liked to make sure she wasn’t some sleazy girl that had been passed around and found out she also hadn’t dated throughout HS. She liked me back and we soon started officially dating after a few dates. She didn’t have a job at the time so I paid for every date and movie we saw, used my car to go places and whatnot. I didn’t really mind at the time. About three months into the relationship She starts showing her true colors. She is hard to compromise with, and likes to start arguments over seemingly nothing. She is also very sarcastic and it's hard to tell when she really means something. She has a bad home life and her dad and her fight alot. I really liked this girl and wanted to know what I could do better for this to work. One thing that woke me up and told me you could never please a woman is when this happened. When I asked for her to tell me where she feels I’ve been lacking, she told me I needed to give her feedback and solutions to her problems whenever she is venting and express my emotions more. I said “Ok I can work on that for you”. After this she then becomes upset and says “But I shouldn’t have to tell you these things!” She points out a flaw, I acknowledge the flaw and promise to work on it and it's still not enough. I have to be able to mindread and not have that “flaw” in the first place. I’ve suggested that maybe I’m just not a good guy for her, and she tells me up and down that I am the sweetest guy she has ever met because I take time out of my busy schedule to listen to her and take her out and do little cute romantic gestures and even her friends are jealous of her. Last night, she started ranting about how I act on FaceTime. Before I met her all my life I was a gamer and will never stop that for anybody, I love it. So when she wants to FT after I get home from classes or work and im gaming while we are in a FT call she gets upset. I am just trying to relax and decompress after a long day and I’m having to deal with a needy girlfriend. I should mention that she is not in college because she procrastinated and waited to long to register for classes at our local community college so she is skipping a whole semester. In addition she still doesn't have a job 6 months later because she is picky and “wants one like mine” that pays decently and treats me well instead of grinding from the bottom. I am tired of having to play Mr. Therapist when I am beginning University Studies and working. She mentions a lot that she is a scorpio so there is that. The only good thing that has come out of this is her mom. Her mom is very sweet and always yells at her that she should treat me better and calls me a gem. I’m not posting here for relationship advice, its past that point, I just want to let guys around my age know its not worth it fellas. I’m in school for a great degree planning to graduate early and have my life on track for the most part. I am not letting anyone throw it off, but I’m getting tired of this I’m too young to be stressed about these things. Imagine if I was living with this girl, my goodness. I plan to break it off with this girl soon and don’t see myself in any relationship for a long time after this one, and I don’t think I will ever marry in this world. I miss being a single guy. I had a lot more money, time and good friends around me. I'm only 18.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
