TL;DR: I love my GF of 3 years but I’ve never even went on one date with anyone else. I’m about to start my masters degree and the people I’ve met are super interesting. I want to experience other people romantically like my GF has. Should I break up?
Hey Reddit,
I’ve been dating my GF for 3 years, we met during our undergrad, and she has her problems, as do I, but we are overall a happy couple.
I just graduated and decided to pursue a masters degree which I’m starting in just over a week, however; I’ve had many meet and greet/networking events throughout the summer months. When I’ve met these people they feel more on my wavelength and I am fascinated by each and everyone one of them as friends.
This gave me a rude awakening as I realized I meshed a lot better on a mental and future goal level with these people.
My GF and I don’t argue and I stay over at her place a lot of the time to the point where I have a good amount of clothes there in my own drawer.
However, I feel stuck. Even though we have no issue romantically or personally. I want to experience other people. She has had previous relationships but I haven’t. I have only even kissed one other person during truth or dare as a kid.
We’ve had our issues and we’ve always managed to talk through them no problem. But this issue, isn’t with her, it’s with me. I’m curious about other people intimately and as relationships.
I’ve done research on reasons to break up and how to do it well and all that, but most of the things I read only addressed when there were giant issues in the relationship and most suggested trying to work out issues first before deciding to end it.
We have no major issues. I just want to see what it is like with other people and I am unsure what to do.
Any advice is greatly appreciated and I appreciate you taking the time to read and reply in advance!

He is as lost as a blind man in the middle of the Sahara Desert. He ain’t coming out any time soon.
May he find the ending he deserves.
