Because a lot of guys expect a level of relationship equity: “if I do this and this and pay for this for her, then she’ll have to give me this in return, it’s only fair”. But that shit don’t work like that.

Mommy issues. These guys often grew up without dads (due to divorce rape/state sanctioned violence against men) and were aggressively brainwashed (AKA abused) by their feminist moms from a very young age that all women are perfect and to white knight and sacrifice their lives for women. These pathetic guys do all of this simping and all these self destructive acts in the hopes of being treated like a disposable utility by her one day. Sad.
