The kid misses a court appointed visitation with dad (hamster says it didn't know of the visitation!) and they made the woman stay there for 10 years. And gave custody to the father citing moral reasons - mother being promiscuous.

Fun fact in islam the father never gets custody of a female child, it automatically goes to the wife if shes unfit then goes to the husbands mother, if shes unfit then to the husbands mother, if shes unfit then to the wifes mother or sister, the same applies to boys younger than 7 i think.

She was going to take the child away from her father and as everyone knows that once she sets foot on American soil. The father have absolutely no rights whatsoever, so at least in Saudi Arabia the child has a father in her life, which is a good thing.

I like how she had her check list (alimony,divorce, and custody) ready for court and then was shocked that it didn’t go her way. From Washington State, yup most likely met the dude at the UW and thought herself culturally accepting and was going to prove muslims aren’t “like that”. And sounds like she didn’t learn anything, “it is 10000 times worst here”, like it is bad for women in the states. Now she knows what it feels like to be a second class citizen in family court.
