Lesbians don’t quite work that way, although if they do want a child they may find a friend to donate sperm, or in some cases just fake being straight to get a baby.

But I’m pretty sure that happens rarely and they just go to a sperm bank or have a donor. Sometimes a lesbian will use a brother to inseminate their partner if they’re not the one carrying the baby.

A more accurate path, which I have seen, is they repress their lesbian nature for <reasons>, get married, have children, get a divorce and “discover” they are a lesbian.
