There’s a lot of negative experiences that have been had by men when engaging with women. And so, being MGTOW may be motivated by this, leaving a big mark on your psyche. And this can unfold into complaining periodically, and suffering due to it, and storing this negative frame to your own detriment, for no real benefit.
Now, I know it is hard to be a cold observer of facts and not put an emotional charge to them, especially as many report the red pill rage. There’s a sort of grieving or acceptance process that goes on for those who enter the manosphere. That’s okay, it is as it is. I know this sounds like tone policing, but it’s not, as I believe this topic is an integral stage in going your own way: leaving behind the scourge even inside your mind.
At some point, whenever we are ready, it behooves us to not manufacture negativity in ourselves or as a community beyond what is required for our progress in realising the reality we inhabit, if we want to suffer as little as possible. I’m guilty of it on this sub, in complaining rather than stating facts so that they can be realised. Yes, it is a gynocentric society, but that’s just what it is. Yeah, AWALT. Yeah. Got it. Processed them. Not what I would like, but that’s what it is.
Acceptance. And doing what is required for the best outcome. And most of all, having one’s own thoughts be non-compulsive, not generating hate or sadness or any kind of suffering ideally. Eventually, when that stops, you can decide upon happiness. And that’s why we’re going our own way, right? We see it as a way to escape suffering. So let’s do that.
If you’ve got compulsive thinking and it is negative, it doesn’t go away immediately just by trying. It’s not something you do to get rid of it. It’s something that you don’t do: you don’t make the thought or emotion in the first place. This is reaaaalll self-development stuff here. It’s a rare person who experiences no compulsive thinking at all, but with just some practice we can reduce it dramatically. This is very optimistic.
I’m just sharing this for those who are at the point where this kind of message speaks to them. When I was depressed for a period of one year, resisting every moment of my life as just unacceptable, about 2.5 years ago now, what got me through, what stopped the compulsive thought was The Power of Now, and Eckhart Tolles other books. I revisit them as often as I can.
TL;DR If your thoughts are like knives, and they don’t spark joy in you, consider if you should be capable of choosing what does and does not inhabit your mind; and for this sub, if negativity toward the facts of female nature does or does not inhabit your mind. If thoughts control you, are you not their slave? Are you still women’s slave inside your head? Read The Power of Now for more info.
I truly hope this is beneficial to going your own way as it always will be to me going mine.
