Today was supposed to be another ordinary day at campus, attending my lectures, doing some work just minding own business till a friend of mine starts the following exchanges:

Friend: "Are you a psychopath?"

Me: "What makes you think that?"

Friend: "X told me that you're a psychopath."

Me:... let a few chuckles out as mentally I'm trying to process this "well do you think I'm a psychopath?"

Friend: "I don't care if you're a psychopath if anything you're one of the coolest people I know and I like you so I don't care if you are I just want to know"

Me: "I'm insecure man.. I'm not surprised X has said that to you, it's how she gets people to turn against the ones she can't control"

Friend: "She said you and her ex boyfriend are psychopaths"

Me: What I wanted to say was something along the lines of "The one who she was flirting with multiple men behind her back" instead I just said "yeah not surprised she would say that"

Now let me make clear that this friend of mine is nothing more than acquaintance from the college I attend although we chat often, exchange banter, compliments even advice from time to time he is more of an acquaintance which I've spent time abd energy creating a respectful, solid relationship whilst although I do appreciate him maning up to me by asking me directly up until that moment we had never given each other reasons to make assumptions nor connotations or remotely think of one another in a less than positive way till today and in his eyes I saw judgement.

Now to X she's the girl with the long legs, good looks, vapid personally, chief manipulator, excruciatingly insecure and absolutely desperate for validation yet has the looks of a model, the mind of a genius and the work ethic of an Asian she's objectively a woman with a lot going on for herself and where I come in is that from the moment I met her she's been using and manipulating anything with a penis to her every whim, she can lure any man with her finger tips and she loves controlling men like puppets so I called her "the reason men have trust issues" and since that day she's become both incensed and intrigued by me as I would be one of a handful of people to not fall for her ways.

For the better part of 6 months we would bounce off each other and whilst I was aware of her list of boys I made it clear to her I'm not another of her toys to which he hated because she needs to be in control but she was fascinated by my lack of desire or interest in her so she entertained me as much as I allowed her to.. till I cut her off and ghosted her and to this day she's still not over it.

In between that time she's had 2 boyfriends, hooked up with one of my best mates, several faces I know of, countless other boy toys and she's currently dating a simp who was obsessed with her from the moment he saw her.

He doesn't satisfy her nor does he have the backbone to keep her in check and he's always been highly insecure and to no surprise intimated by me so she doesn't hesitate to chase me when he's not around.

This woman has done some extreme things to get my attention namely branding me, had a full blown rage fit at me in front of my campus acquaintances, etc etc.

But more importantly men women hate when you disregard them, when you cut off their attention you remove their validation and they can't help but feel because their emotions lead their actions.

For the longest while I honestly had forgotten her existence I have been in monk mode the last 3 months working on myself, establishing consistency as well ss discipline through working out, trying to be studious with my education and remain on top of it, see the friends I can count on and enjoy the occasional night out to live a little that she's not even crossed my mind once yet clearly I'm still on hers and we've never had sex, never kissed nor dated, once the sexual tension between us got blurred and I slipped up I cut her off because we had a toxic situationship.

As I write this I am perplexed as to how I even let the actions of a girl I no longer communicate with linger on my mind so much so that I almost messaged her to address the issue however she's going to lie and switch the topic of conversation to her and her problems.

Men whatever it is that you truly want in this world be careful to whom you come across because if it's anything like X it's going to be a series of draining, unnecessary, toxic situations that will ultimately stop at nothing to intrude in your life.
