Greetings. I went to a funeral this weekend where a 36 year old single mom read a letter that she wrote to her deceased dad. Interesting that she has a long history of pursuing bad boys but in her letter she wrote "I admired you for being a great provider." She also said "Whenever I asked you for money you always said that you didn't have any but then you turned around and gave me some anyway." Is it normal for dads and/or parents to financially enable adult daughters? Please educate me as I never knew that this was a norm but am now wondering if it is so.
