I'm simply just looking for some guidance and have a few questions for someone older that has come into their own.

I'm not sure if this is the way to go about seeking advice, but I'd just like someone to talk to about things.

I'd like to refrain from posting too much about my personal life on Reddit, but I will say I come from a single mom household. So I'm left with a ton of question for actual men, that have found a path themselves.

The only men around me I can even look to for advice seem to be the stereotypical men. They just seek out luxurious lifestyles in hopes of attracting women. They don't seem happy unless a woman gives them attention, and I truly don't want that to be my life. I don't really care for attention from women anymore, but just the thought of that possibly being me at an old age fucking terrifies me.
