Guys in their late teens (17-18) to early twenties, what made you already decide to GYOW in life?

The best thing as younger men we can do is learn from other peoples mistakes and unhappiness. So that made me go mgtow. Seeing woman divorce raping guys, cheating on them, bossing them around, guys barely enjoying their money cause they have to satisfy their wives and buy unnecessary shit. Even married guys who are real with you and not putting up a happy face to hide their real emotions will say marriage is terrible. After seeing all these things, marriage or relationships are not for me.

Was in a relationship at 19 for three years. Moved in together, went to school together and basically spent every second together. Fucking awful. I started realizing just how uncleanly, dull and dishonest women can be. Especially once I found out she was cheating on me.

After I had helped her with school work (classes and labs she would have failed without me practically doing most of the work), visited her family members in the hospital, helped cook/set up at countless of her family's holiday parties (her brothers are too busy smoking crack to help their parents), and basically taught this girl what fucking dignity and self-respect mean because every guy before me degraded her horribly.

I've been on my own for a year now (23, since November) and am finishing my bachelor's before I move to Shanghai to teach for a few years before I possibly go to law school. My life is infinitely better since I don't have a little girl, two years my senior, to raise any longer.

The best thing to probably come out of the dissolution of my relationship; I reconnected with the girl I had first had feelings for when I was 16. She had also been in a relationship for about as long as mine and ended in similar fashion from what I understand. She's a cute little blonde Russian girl I met when on exchange in France with Rotary. We reconnected and I went to Shanghai last month to visit and gentlemen, I had the time of my twenty-year-old life. Nothing but booze, food and fucking for two weeks.

I'm not interested in getting married until I've accomplished what I have mind, and even then not likely. But I've find my unicorn. Independent, sophisticated, full of ambition and doesn't take/want shit from anybody. I've never met another woman like her in the states and getting married to anyone but her would be a waste of my time.

The right one is out there, my brothers. In my case, I'd just met her a long time ago.
