I really love terrain in which you can see both clouds below you, and clouds above you.

Gives a very unique sense of scale. Helps to remind us how truly small we are before the vast wealth that mother nature provides.

I spent a few years living in Aspen, Colorado.

About mid September the first snow would hit the top of the mountains, then as the month went by you could see it creeping lower and lower. Usually in the first week of October we'd get our first snow on the ground, at roughly 8,000 feet.

I'm a summer guy, but still I loved it.
