Shows a lot of interesting and enlightening moments when it comes to the privileged wives of narco traffickers. The only woman in my opinion in that entire show who is down for her man is Tata, Pablo’s wife. Even she is prone to short-sightedness and protecting her children out of selfishness rather than stand by Pablo’s side.

Some of the more insufferable women on that show is Kiko’s wife. Throws out lines like “oh, so I guess we aren’t getting the house in Cartagena” and constantly rejects Kiko’s advances. Another one is Paola in season 3. She is married to a genuinely good man in Jorge and constantly degrades him for not being able to leave the cartel life. Her short-sightedness and unwillingness to accept harsh truths (like the fact Jorge and their whole family would die if they tried to leave) is beyond frustrating to watch.
