So one of my required classes at university is a 200 level speech class; SPE 202 (Interpersonal Communications). My professor is a real cool dude. Slim, young, funny, married, and not afraid to talk about controversial topics and get feedback on it.

Why am I writing this? The purpose of the post is to show how many parallels you can draw between RP ideology and realize that there is no such thing as game. I am going to attempt to demonstrate.

Our topic in class yesterday was persuasion. As you all know, seduction itself is a subtle form of persuasion. Let's try and connect the dots.

We learned about something called Heuristics. Basically this means that we take mental shortcut's to make everyday decisions easier. A good example is how people this past November voted for either Trump or Hillary because they preferred one over the other at face value, not because the population weighed pros and cons, compared policies, etc. The same thing would happen if I asked you who is the best actor out of a group of 5 people. You could do some data analysis to see who is actually most successful (Awards, length of career, # of movies), but chances are you will go with your gut and make a quick choice. So the question is why do we do this, when the logical decision is more reasonable to defer to.

Below are a few vocabulary terms. One thing you will realize is that many of these terms are heavily used in RP/PUA community, just in a different context. If you were to walk around using words like, "social proof", and people knew it was tied to TRP, you would alienate yourself in a way. Here in a speech class, it is totally acceptable, however. Heuristic Trigger Examples Reciprocity - You feel a personal debt to the person speaking (Sort of how like when a popular kid in high school would talk to you, you would listen, even if it was nonsense.) Social Proof - You’re influenced by others opinions during the process. (You guys know what this is) Liking - If we like someone, we are likely more susceptible to persuasion (Oneitis) Authority - Influenced by a persons knowledge or profession (Not sure how to relate) Consistency - We comply with a message that jives with our own beliefs (Not sure how to relate) Scarcity - Is it plentiful or is it rare? (You guys know what this is)

This post feels a bit disorganized but the point I'm trying to make is that TRP is not just about sexual strategy. It is about getting a leg up in the world by recognizing the behavioral patterns of others and adjusting your actions to thrive. No more, no less. TRP in my personal opinion, is about making sense of the madness in this world, gender relations, sex, love, finances, fitness. It is about finding what works best for you as a man (Logically), and not worrying too much about how others feel (Emotionally).

I took lots of notes yesterday and I could go on and on but I feel like I should cut this short. I just wanted to make the point that RP knowledge is not distinct to TRP, and that it is happening all around you every day. Everybody understands scarcity, but coming from a different frame of reference.

In conclusion, something I learned in class yesterday was this; TRP is not much different from other patterns of thinking. In fact, they are one and the same. The only difference is which angle you view information from. It's all about context. I'm sure most of you guys know this already but I thought it would be interesting to share what I learned in class.

Did I ever want to manipulate people’s emotions? Of course not. But in 21st century america, you are left with few options. Stay woke men.
