Imagine a scenario where someone cherry picked all those "yes all men" and "men are trash" tweets and called out on it by saying “is this the best a feminist can be?”

I don't think such a scenario will be welcomed even by those feminists who do not post those tweets. The first thing they will do is that they will try to defend feminism by saying things like "For every 'men are trash' and 'yes all men' feminist tweets, I can show you hundreds and thousands of feminist tweets saying exactly the opposite". At any rate, they are not going to call out on people who do! Instead they will resort to 'they are not the real feminists' tactic. Which is bullshit! Since there is no ultimate authority that certifies that. (That is to say, if one labels oneself as a feminist, nobody has the right to deny it. In fact, that would be "anti-feminist" according to feminist theory).

So my question is, why is it noble for feminists to defend their ideology instead of calling out on those that harm their ideology but as soon as a man does the same thing with their identity the whole thing somehow becomes deplorable?
