Unfortunately this isn't true. The people censoring comedians now control who gets hired and fired, and the people feigning outrage over personal humor have similar power. Remember Donglegate? That was several years ago and it's only gotten worse. A "good system" isn't one where people can lose their livelihood and career based on inaccurate interpretations of some offhand comment.

In the age of the internet, it's really easy to get fired or removed from an important position by SJW outrage, so this is partially inaccurate as there are unfortunate circumstances in this day and age.
