I think all the Kawasaki "Z"s are under rated. Nice bike. Practice your emergency stops! People do not rise to the occasion, they fall to their level of training.

Yeah it's definitely hard work, and dangerous but as much as carrying 150lb rolls of steel cable/Chain links in 100* heat across a hot asphalt barge sucks....It ain't getting shot at.

Getting shot at is a fucked up thing. Your scared to fucking death, but never again in your life will you feel more alive. No sex, no drug, no rollercoaster, or jumping out of airplanes will ever even get close to giving you back that feeling. It's the most horribly wonderful experience in the world. I've never felt more alive than when I was down to one magazine of ammo and we were surrounded by pissed off hajis. I was a huge hunter before the war, now I dont hunt because it's just to easy.. It doesn't have that flavor of knowing that you are being hunted as well.

I love my R3!
Honestly, unless you planning on long distances or race track, the 300cc is plenty powerful for daily adventures. You won't be able to break the sound barrier but it also won't break your wallet. Also, middle aged dudes on powerful bikes die. They don't just die a little bit either they die more than the 20 year olds.
