The ultimate question that you want to be able to answer eventually is: “I want freedom to ________________”?
On achieving freedom: (the availability of time, resources and health that will allow you do to what you ultimately want to be free to do with your life)
RIGHT NOW ,this very moment you need to understand 4 fundamental things:
It takes TIME and EFFORT to accumulate resources.
It takes TIME and EFFORT to maintain your health.
Your TIME and EFFORT are finite.
The earlier in your life you begin with #1 and #2 the easier it will be for these early gains to COMPOUND in your favor throughout your life.
What do I mean by compound?
Resources(money): If you give Time and effort when you are young to gain resources(money) you can take advantage of stock market investing (in your 20’s) to minimize the future time/effort required to gain additional resources.
Resources(network): If you give time and effort early (20’s)to building a strong network of like minded individuals or potential mentor types, these people will in turn give their time and effort to help you in your future personal endeavors. (Proper networking is an exchange. It is not you trying to gain a contact without providing equal or greater value back to that individual. If you are not providing equal or greater value back to the individual you are just a parasite. No redpill man should tolerate a parasite. Get it luz )
Health: If you give time and effort to your health (as early as you can), you will have to spend much less TIME and EFFORT later in life to keep those early gains you have made. It’s still more work as you age but there will come a point in your life that if you have not made an effort to stay healthy early on in your life, you will not ever be healthy. THERE IS NO RECOVERY FROM THIS MISTAKE!!!! YOU MUST START NOW.
ON TIME AND EFFORT
Time and effort are finite!! Sorry cupcake, you can’t have it all. There are trade-offs you must make bitchez. ECON 101. Just keep in mind young guys, that you are getting the” best bang for your buck” if you spend your time and effort in your 20’s accumulating resources.
1st step: (best if you can start as a 12 year old boy or even younger) Maslov hierarchy of physical needs. (food, water, warmth rest, security safety) First things first, you need to know how to take care of yourself on the most basic of levels before you can hope to successfully/optimally gain proper health and resources. You need to know how to cook, clean, self groom , buy groceries, do laundry ect.
You need to know learn how to do the small stuff that should reoccur continually in every mans life. If you don’t have these skills, this is where you start. One needs to have these skills down to the point that they are automatic in your nature.
ON ACHIEVING THE ABOVE STEPS AND ALL THE OTHER STEPS IN THE PROCESS
“Rome wasn’t built in a day. God took 7 days to create the Earth.”
The changes you make in your life need to be GRADUAL. I like to make an analogy to the stock market. If the market runs up too fast, too far, there will eventually be a major correction. ALL new gains, need to be consolidated before a firm move higher(adding new skills) should be undertaken. If you are not able to take care of yourself in any way you pick one of the things in the above list and just focus on that. You work on that one thing until you get it down BEFORE adding on another skill.
ON PLANNING WHAT YOU WANT TO DO NEXT…
DON’T PLAN!!! DON’T FUCKING DO IT!!!
What I mean is, if you are trying to add a skill out of a big list pick one that makes logical sense and START working on it right away. The proper methodology for adding new skills is:
DO-ANALYZE-REVISE
DO: So say you want to start with learning how to do laundry. You get your dirty clothes and you read the directions and you perform the action. This is the do. Just do the task.
ANALYZE: You need to try to get in the habit EVERY NIGHT for at least 5 mins to review how things went with the skill you are trying to add to your arsenal. It’s really easy with the hustle that is life to forget to review those things that we are trying to change. Set an alarm clock on your phone for the same time every night. I personally have a word doc that I open up that lists what I am currently trying to accomplish. “Did I do what I wanted to do?” “How did it go” “Is there a way to make the process better?”
REVISE: If you answered that there is a way to make things better, you try it out the next day.
MOVING ON TO THE NEXT SKILL YOU WANT TO UNDERTAKE
Don’t move on to a new skill until you are performing your current skill consistently along with the previous 2 things that you undertook, WITHOUT you having to be reminded by your nightly alarm to perform said task. This is the consolidation part of the process. Don’t add new things on too quickly or everything will come crashing down on you.
NEXT SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE??
Sit down and think about your life and situation. How can I increase my resources so I can be free? Then add that skill.
