I have a friend who is a prison guard - a large minority of men are there due to women related issues. So child support, domestic violence etc. The domestic violence raps - standard story - woman sets the man up for a DV, so repeatedly provokes him, then the moment he does anything calls the cops.

BS advise in the men's rights groups - get a lawyer. First lawyers are expensive - second woman usually gets legal aid - third they can legally suppress evidence. In OP's position, potentially he could beat it but he needs to do his own legal research and then learn how to do his own paper work etc.

Essentially the deck is heavily stacked against OP. The only advantage he has is that often lawyers are lazy and arrogant. Another friend of mine, he got a BS Violence against women against him. Motive was to get a temporary restraining order against him for child custody. He looked like a stupid redneck, he represented himself, after an hour the judge threw out the case. But it was mainly his wife's lawyer was arrogrant, not due to his smarts.

This is the reality - the men's rights guys have their head up their ass.

these Title IX tribunals are designed to empower women at the expense of men, it is guilty until proven innocent, and the accused has few rights and may not even be allowed to know details of the accusations and charges. Under the Obamanation, the powers of these college tribunals was increased to the greater detriment of the accused. While Title IX is about any discrimination, it is usually used by women against men. In most of these cases, their is no evidence that would hold up in criminal or civil courts, which is why police and justice system isn't involved. The accused man is often forced to leave the school, and has the Title IX decision on his permanent record, which makes enrolling in another school, getting a job, etc., impossible.

Good news, is that these accused men are fighting back

I read a recent article about men whose lives where destroyed by these Title IX tribunals suing their accusers and the institutions for defamation, there's a recent case in Maryland. If they win, they can get their records expunged, cleaned up, and seek monetary damages from their accusers and the institution. Of course, the stories in social media and on the internet will last forever, but if you're in your early 20s and get a 7-figure payout, invest well and live well.

Until these false accusers and the institutions that enable them, pay a big price for destroying an innocent man, nothing will change.

Women are given a "bad decision" pass, this is not too dissimilar from abortion used as form a convenient birth control after the fact when she was too stupid or lazy to use birth control effectively. Another pass.

When I was in college going to parties, women would get intoxicated just the same as the men, hookups were common, and both men and women would have regrets the next day once sober lol. It was a life lesson. I woke up next to some fugly girls occasionally, luckily it was rare. No one thought to destroy someone's life with a false accusation, we were consenting adults responsible for our own decisions. Common sense was more common.

Before my kid goes to college, I will be sure he knows about this reality. If he's falsely accused and his life is ruined by a Title IX tribunal witch hunt, I will take them to the courts vigorously.
