Doing the quick translation, 4 million rupees is $58,322.40. That's a big chunk of change. The report says he borrowed it from his colleagues and willingly gave it to her after having only known her for "some days." When his colleagues asked to be repaid, she paid him with a hot check.
I'm not trying to blame the guy but, who in their right minds would loan someone 60 grand after having only known them for "some days?" Especially when your career is in education.

Relationships in India are beyond my western comprehension.
