I believe there is no greater bond between two man than going through some time of brimstone and fire ... any version of it. ... that Is when you know your brothers and can lean on each other. Three previous occasions I had this happen and humbling was the last thing that happened.
Today i Inquired about a buddy that is overseas and coming home. ... I got told pretty much to fuck off .... so Instead of being pissy I stood my ground and bowed out politely. Then googled some things. When the next message flashed I deleted it without reading it. Then turned to one vet brother to rant . And a second vet brother to figure out what I forgot since I have been single. Simply put. The second replied .. she probably being protect of him and his time when he hits ground . And has forgot that you wont be the one bum rushing to see him until he is settled in for his leave . This made me realize yes im.like that with my kids when I return from trips and such. The second he said you consider him. Family yes? And if he considers you family you and him will link up . This is someone I have been through thick and thin with . But needless to say I do hope he has a happy reunion . And just wanted to let you guys know what once was respect and honor is hard to see now a days . Either way when he calls I will answer. As for his spouse . No... unless he ask me to help with something. Be careful and safe guard those that are close to you. And for those that are but you can't safe guard , watch from a distance. This is different post than normal here. But unless ya been in a burning building with some.one. buried a fallen brother together. Or have had one in your group almost commit suicide or has committed that act for a reason or another . Or voluntarily leave your family so that the other can come home and you take his place. Please keep that bashing at a minimum. Today was like a veteran day or memorial day. A day for remembrance. Yes people change every 5 years . But when ya escape near death a few times with someone or guarding each others back to back. There's a bond that is formed . Soul immortal on his patreon page talks about this for a better clarification. Stay humble . Stay busy . Stay thirsty and above all else go your own way and own path .
