I've noticed this from virtually every woman who owns a dog. Every pitbull-owning yoga pants "dog mom", every post-wall woman with a yappy lap dog, every "dog trainer lady" with great danes or dobermans, every soccer mom with a lab or retrievers or whatever. The attention they give their dogs is 100% centered around power and the withdrawal of affection, and they're obsessed with the word "wimp". They say "wimp" constantly when referring to one or more of their dogs. They'll pull a "THINK FAST" throw a toy at their dog quicker than he can respond and it'll hit him in the snout and then they'll yell "HEEL" and the dog will go "um ok" and timidly walk over to them, and they'll laugh and say "Hehehehe you WIMP". They'll take their boxer who's never swam before, to the lake and try to throw them in the water and when the dog struggles and freaks out they'll go "come on you WIMP!!" They'll go for a jog with their dog in the middle of the summer and when the dog gets thirsty or heat stressed they'll be like "come on you WIMP just six more blocks don't make me carry you!!" They'll shoot their dog in the face with a hose, and when the dog recoils for half a second, not immediately realizing what hit him, they'll go "JEEZ IT'S ONLY WATER YOU WIMP"

It's always "wimp", they're like broken records, wimp wimp wimp, never any other word.

It's as though they're trying to use the dog to fill the void in their heart that a man would normally fill, and as such they have to emasculate the dog in the same way they would with a boyfriend.

Idk, maybe it's nothing and I'm just overanalyzing it. But it seems pretty weird.
