Today I was in the grocery store shopping. There was an older man and a little girl also shopping. The little girl looked like she was about five or six. It was obvious he was her grandfather. As they moved around the store, they seemed to be having a nice time shopping. The little girl was dancing around and the grandfather was smiling and they were laughing together and picking out things to cook.

As luck would have it, they got on line at the checkout counter behind me. The little girl picked up a candy bar, turned to the grandfather and said “can I have this please?” (At least she has manners. Lol). The grandfather says loudly in a comical voice “whoa, whoa whoa.....wait a minute......why am I buying you this thing here?” as he waved the candy bar in front of her.

She took it back, thought for a couple of seconds, got a big smile on her face and said....

“Because I’m so cute!”

And she tosses the candy bar onto the belt.

Everyone within ear shot who heard and saw this exchange laughed. The grandfather certainly laughed and needless to say, she got her candy bar.

It was a funny little moment but it does sort of go to show you that girls are biologically driven to manipulate people and use their looks to get what they want.
